Lyric won her first Student of the Month award yesterday. The Bowie high-school award has only been given out 10 times before. She won the award after "Surviving the anti-vaxxers" she said. The student of the month award was given to Lyric for "Outstanding achievements and work ethic". The student is given the award by the principal, and a few other staff members. It's given out monthly and the students that receive it are honored. "It feels wonderful, never been better," Lyric said when asked how it feels to win the award.
