"The World's 50 Greatest Living Athletes," November 2017

"When the World's Greatest Living Athlete is also an off-the-court phenom in business, in movies, and increasingly in politics, the time allotted for a photo shoot is limited (it was 45-minutes from the frame to the last). But photographer Pari Dukovic nevertheless captured LeBron James in a timeless, almost deified image that shows the strength, fierceness, and regal nature of GQ’s November cover subject. One worthy of blowing up and framing like a piece of art (which we did).

This portrait is very good because the lighting is very good, and it matches the title of it as "The King". It fits this because his skin is almost a golden color, and the background is a golden color. Also, he's wearing a crown on his head, which fits the 'king" description. Also, LeBron James is a huge inspiration to me. The fact that he can do so much in basketball and outside of basketball is incredible to me. That's part of the reason I like this portrait so much. It shows that he's a king in basketball because he's one of the greatest players to ever play the game, but he's also a king outside of basketball because he's done so much for the community, and his family.
